Drug Information Center
In medical profession, healthcare professionals must be updated with drugs and their indications, contraindications, adverse effects and their use in special population.The treating physician shall also be updated with newer prescription writing norms, newly marketed drugs and drugs banned in India etc.Pharmacovigilance is another area which needs collaborative approach by stakeholders like Pharmacologists, Healthcare Professionals, students and Consumers. Department of Pharmacology, AIIMS Raipur has taken this initiative to launch “Drug Information Center” to cater above needs.
We are hopeful that not only healthcare professionals but also students and patients will also be benefited by this venture.
